Breast Enlargement On The Nhs

Have you had a breast enlargement on the NHS?

is it possible to have this done? was it cosmetic reasons or medical. I would like to know as I have just been turned down for a reduction and I would like to collect as much information as so I can appeal against it. Thank you in advance for your information.

do you think that a reduction should be classed as cosmetic ? I feel that I want this done as they are causing me discomfort/stress. your input is valued.

My cousin’s wife had a breast enlargement on the Nhs about 5 years ago. I believe she may have had a pigeon chest. I think her case was that she was unhappy with her body due to her small (in fact non-existent breasts) and this was making her depressed and causing her psychological pain. So I’m not sure if this was classed as cosmetic or medical! My friend is on the waiting list for a breast reduction, she has already been on it for 2 years and i don’t think she’ll get it anytime soon (she’s 20). Her breasts are huge i think about a GG and still seem to be growing. It causes her back pain, bad posture, bra straps digging in her shoulders etc (all of which I’m sure you already know about since you want a reduction too. Hope that helps a bit……..
