PoLL: How come yo didn’t leave the US yet?

Taxes are high. The economy sucks. National debt is unrepayable. Unimplyemnt is high. Health care sucks. Educational systems sucks.

There are places on earth where one can move and have better health care, schools, roads, police with lower taxes. Why not move there?

I was born in Europe. Now I’m in Canada. In 6-7 years I plan to look for jobs else where. Think about it. If now someone is 25, by the time they’re 95 the government would have taken half their money.

This is millions of dollars that could have been spent on food, retirement, cars, women, penis enlargement pills

I can’t afford to leave–I’m rather stuck here.

Besides, I’m still rather in shock, ok? I thought for sure things would get better once Bush was gone–once his idiocy no longer threatened the nation. Did it happen? Nooo…the banks took all the damned money, threw a hissy fit and ran. And nobody’s *letting* the President course correct and get us *out of Iran* or *undo those Tax Cuts for the Rich* that are bankrupting the piss out of us (those two things being some 40% of the projected deficit, mind you).

So yeah, I’m still in shock. I got unfairly defaulted on student loans (loopholed out of my grace period before I could graduate), and because of that snafu in 1993, I can’t *get forebearance to stick* or keep “offsets” from cheating me out of *everything*. >_<

I'm still in shock and can't afford to get to civilization. You know, go somewhere where people *make sense* and where it isn't all, and I really mean ALL, about sucking up to the Richest One Percenters while everyone else rots. And I really mean *Rots*.

It's got that bad. I'd go if I could, and I actually voted for Obama twice. I helped make him Senator first, because I thought he'd be allowed to *do something right*, god help me for being naive. >_< I did not expect the Suits to bend his ear nonstop for a month *before* his first day on the job. I did not expect him to be neutered so quickly.

Sorry to go on so.....but yeah. I'm too broke to leave and actually go someplace that doesn't suck worse.
